LANCASTER- The Lancaster Market is proud to announce that it has won third place for July in the “Ball Discover, You Can Educational Summer Project.” The market is third in the country out of 30 participants.
The market extends “thanks’ to the community for the support.
Ann Jordan, executive director of the market, said they were asked to demonstrate at the Niagara County Fair Friday, Aug. 3. The ball programs are evaluated by the demonstrations, numbers, creativity, essays and pictures/video. The Lancaster Market has been recognized nationally twice this year. Some of the markets have more than 150 vendors in very large communities.
The last call for recipes will be Wednesday, Aug. 15. Your participation will help us have a successful fund-raiser for the market. Bring the recipes to the market to the big yellow truck.
Also, Jordan said the market is seeking vendors for the second half of the season. The market has lost a few vendors due to other commitments for the second half of the season.
