Travel back to 1812 at the Hulls Home Living History Day

LANCASTER- The Hull Family Home and Farmstead and the WNY Regency Society will present an 1812 Living History Day from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday Sept.15.
While you tour the historic Hull House at 5976 Genesee St., Lancaster, you can visit with ladies in their sewing circle, have refreshments with those who are having tea, and visit the cellar kitchen where they will be making butter and doing laundry.
Outside you can help the farm hand saw logs or watch him splitting firewood and sharpening his scythe. You can also try some children's games from the period. You might even meet some other interesting people just strolling around the grounds.
This event is open to the public. All proceeds benefit the restoration of the Hull House, an all volunteer project. Donations are encouraged.
