Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce recognizes student achievement

Since transferring to Maryvale High School as a sophomore, Melissa has made an impact on her school and her community.
Melissa is a dedicated student who not only is taking regents course but who is also challenging herself with college courses while achieving grades that placed her on the honor roll each quarter of the 2011-2012 school year.
In addition to her scholastic achievements, Melissa plays softball and soccer outside of school. She is also involved in many musical groups including the Women’s Choir and A Capella Group. Melissa has been a member of the school’s musicals each year.
Melissa’s goal is a career in the legal field. Her drive and passion for this profession is evident in her participation in the school clubs of C.H.A.N.G.E., M.E.S.S. and Mock Trial.
The Cheektowaga Police Crime Resistance Unit, the Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce and Community Connections congratulate Melissa on her recognition and wish her much success in her future endeavors.
