Lancaster man sentenced for sending a threatening text message

LANCASTER- U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. recently announced that Ronald Blair, 42, of Lancaster, who was convicted of using an interstate communication facility to transmit a threat, was sentenced to one year probation by Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Anthony M. Bruce, who handled the case, stated that on Feb. 11, 2009, the defendant, an associate of the Kingsman Motorcycle Club, sent threatening text messages to an individual associated with the Chosen Few Motorcycle Club.
The conviction is the culmination of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Safe Streets Task Force, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge Christopher M. Piehota.
