LANCASTER- Fall has finally arrived and the mums, fall scrubs, pumpkins, and peaches are now available at the market.

Executive Director of the Lancaster Market Ann Jordan said it is time to can those peaches and she has found a good recipe for a peach ginger tart.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Mix four medium sliced peaches, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger. Cook at medium heat for approximately three minutes until sugar dissolves. Place a nine inch pie crust on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray and mound up the cooked peaches in the center. Foil the edges leaving the center exposed and add a few dabs of butter. Sprinkle with one tablespoon of sugar and bake for 30 minutes until golden brown. Serve with ice cream.
