Friday May 25, 2012 | By:Metro Source Staff | News
From 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 27 the shiny, clean brick dust free Homestead will be open. Visitors will be able to tour the 10 restored rooms under the guidance of our knowledgeable and well trained volunteers. Each Sunday through Labor Day, from 1 to 4 p.m., this l829 gem, furnished in the period, will be open to receive those who would like to step back to a simpler (but not easier) time.
Members of the Historical Society of the Tonawandas and children twelve and under are admitted free. Others will find the $4.00 admission fee to be money well spent. Tours are also offered by appointment. Call 716-694-7406 or email tonahist@gmail.com for more information.
