Run the Burg on June 2 offers new course through Village of Hamburg

Registration is being accepted for the second annual Run the ‘Burg for Autism, a 5K Run/Walk to be held on Saturday, June 2 starting at 11 a.m. in the Village of Hamburg.

The new USATF/RRTC race course winds through the heart of the village, just blocks away from Buffalo and Main Street corridors.

Participants will start on Clark Street. They will continue to racedown Sherburn Drive, Charlotte Avenue, Huntington Court, Hunt Avenue, Main Street, Buffalo Street, Maple Avenue, Hawkins Avenue, Highland Avenue, Buffalo Street and finish up on Clark Street. Pre-race registration and a post-race celebration will include food, drink, and live music throughout the afternoon, for those participating and anyone else interested in supporting the cause.

The cost to pre-register is $20 and on race day, $25. There are three ways to register: download the application at www.jpsfoundation.org/run.html, online at score-this or active.com, or do so on site the day of the race. Registration and packet pick-up begin
