Blood drive to be held for the American Red Cross

LANCASTER- Gentle Dentistry of Lancaster, PLLC will be holding a blood drive for the Red Cross of Buffalo from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 15, at the office, located at 5007 Transit Road, Depew.
Pre-registration available by calling 652-7080 or by visiting their Web site at www.wearegentledentistry.com and clicking on the “schedule an appointment” button.
The Lancaster location of Gentle Dentistry, PLLC held a very successful blood drive and this year they are continuing the successful action of helping those in need. Blood is always needed to avert disaster and to save lives, and when disaster strikes, the Red Cross is there.
Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate. There is no substitute for your donation. When you make a blood donation, you join a very select group. Currently only three out of every 100 people in America donate blood.
“We are very pleased to be able to help the American Red Cross and the people of our community once again. It gives us great pleasure to know that we are helping,” said Dr. Leslie Glassbrenner of Gentle Dentistry, PLLC.”
Pre-registration, though not required is encouraged to give the Red Cross volunteers an estimate of how much equipment they will need for that day.
