Belmont Housing sets 10th anniversary open house

LANCASTER- Belmont Housing Resources for Western New York will host a 10th anniversary open house for its Woodland Place rental apartments for adults age 55 and older from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 4791 William St., Lancaster.

Income-eligible individuals are welcome to tour the development, located in a landscaped park-like setting. At least one household member must be at least 55 years of age. Monthly rent for the one-bedroom unit is $545, while the two-bedroom unit rents for $645. Section 8 rental assistance vouchers are accepted.

Amenities include a smoke-free environment, central air conditioning, full-size kitchen stove, frost-free refrigerator, emergency alert pull cords in bedrooms and bathrooms, laundry area on each floor and well-lit off-street parking. There is an automatic handicapped-accessible entrance with an intercom system, and a wheelchair-access elevator. The property is pet-friendly, has low utility costs and is wired for cable.

Belmont Housing provides on-site management, 24/7 emergency repairs and organized programs and activities. There are two community rooms, a computer room, a reading area and two patios.
