Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce announces board of director's candidates

LANCASTER- There are two seats open on Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and five candidates who are interested in filling those seats.

The 2013 candidates include:

Tom Billings who is seeking election to the board of directors for the first time representing ABC- Advanced Business Connections, a consulting services company, which he has owned since in 2010. Billing's is a current adjunct professor for Medaille College teaching organizational development and global leadership.

Billings graduated from the University at Buffalo with a master's in engineering management. He is active in Holy Name Society in addition to being an usher and advisor to his parish youth organization. Lifelong Lancaster resident, Billings and his wife reside in Lancaster with their two daughters. He is an active member of the Lancaster Area Chamber manufacturing committee's efforts.

Scott Cacciotti has previously served on the Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as a member and board president. He is the owner of Grandview Landscaping & Snowplowing and has been providing quality landscaping and snow removal for more than 20 years.

He is an active supporter of the Hull House, Shea's Performing Arts Center, and Lancaster Opera House. Cacciotti is an active member of the Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce. He resides in Lancaster his wife and two children.

Lynn Dearmyer is seeking election to the board of directors also for the first time representing Globalquest Staffing Solutions, where she is the business development manager. Dearmyer has more than 12 years experience in the recruiting industry.

She is a graduate of Villa Maria College. She is a current member of Buffalo Niagara Human Resources Association, member of Buffalo Niagara Partnership and active member of the Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce. Dearmyer is also very involved in serving her community through her political endeavors and affiliations. She is a winner of the 2012 Business First Forty Under 40 award.

Salvatore Gandolfo is seeking election to the board of directors for the first time representing Merrill Lynch, where he is a financial advisor with the Kane Fasanello Group. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Pittsburgh with a degree in finance.

He is a current member of Buffalo Niagara Partnership and University of Pittsburgh Alumni Association and past vice president of Entrepreneurs' Society. He is also an active member of the Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce membership committee.

Michael Rambach is seeking election to the board of directors for the first time representing GraphicAir Design, which he has owned since 1995. His focus is on social media, web design, and print media. Rambach has been in the graphic design industry for more than 15 years. He is graduate of The Art of Institute of Pittsburgh with a diploma in digital design.

Rambach has created marketing collateral for the Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce as well assisting with new media for the chamber including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn. Resident of Depew, he recently partnered with a chamber member and moved his business to the Village of Lancaster.

The two candidates chosen to fill the seats will be announced Tuesday, Nov. 13.
