NORTH TONAWANDA - Are you looking to lend a hand in your community?
Do you love North Tonawanda and its history?
Do you have knowledge and/or skills you can put to work helping us continue the development of the North Tonawanda History Museum and our Lumber City History Center project?
Do you have previous Board experience?
While not absolutely necessary, such experience is always helpful. But your interest, enthusiasm, and commitment to our current and long term operations is of primary importance.
Apply to become a Trustee at the North Tonawanda History Museum.
The museum is looking specifically for North Tonawanda residents, former residents, and others who are interested in becoming active Trustees for a three-year elected term. Trustees take part in maintaining policy, legal and financial matters as well as overseeing the operation of the organization by North Tonawanda History Museum staff or, in the absence of staff, overseeing the programmatic operations of the organization, including all volunteers. One year, two year, and three year terms available.
Interested candidates may call for more information or apply by sending a letter of intent and a resume to:
Governance Committee
North Tonawanda History Museum
54 Webster Street
North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
Or by emailing nthistorymuseum@aol.com.
