2013 Veterans Forum Series gearing up

North Tonawanda City Clerk-Treasurer Scott P. Kiedrowski announced the first installment of the 2013 Veterans Forums Series, sponsored by his office, is on tap to begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14 in Common Council Chambers at North Tonawanda City Hall, 216 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda.
Thomas Konopka of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 77, and Dr. John Sellick, Hospital Epidemiologist, VA Western New York Healthcare System will be on hand to educate and share information about infectious diseases with local veterans and their families. A question and answer session will follow Sellick’s presentation.
In addition to Sellick, Brian Stiller, Director, VA Western New York Healthcare System will be in attendance.
Lastly, Kiedrowski will give and overview for those Veterans that wish to receive the Veteran’s Discount Card that are provided courtesy of Niagara County Clerk Wayne F. Jagow. A group bus trip is being planned to the Niagara County Clerk’s Office and pre-registration is a start of this initiative. More details will be given at the forum.
