Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce to host job fair
“This is a great opportunity and venue for companies who are looking to fill open positions and/or expand their workforce employment”, said Debra S. Liegl, President and CEO of the Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce.
“Employers and job seekers have commented on the open environment of the Job Fair at the Walden Galleria,” said Liegl. “This venue creates a relaxed atmosphere for both the employer and the potential employee resulting in a more positive interaction for both parties.”
The Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce has hosted a Job Fair every year for the past 10 years and they have always been very successful for the employers as well as potential employees. “This event brings together employers who are seeking qualified employees to fill immediate employment needs,” said Liegl. “Hundreds of job seekers have attended the Job Fair in the past and many have received numerous job offers from this event. Last year, one of the employers scheduled five interviews for the following day from the candidates they met at the Job Fair.”
Chamber Members can register for a booth at the Job Fair for just $125. Businesses that are not members of the Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce can take advantage of a one-year membership and a booth at the Job Fair for just $250 – a savings of $70.
