Pendleton hold community faire and expo Sept. 29

The second annual Pendleton Community Faire and Business Expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29.

The expo will provide an opportunity to the residence of Pendleton to connect with different services the county has to offer.

Services include, home heating assistance programs, energy workshops, passport information, Thank-A-Vet discount cards, health and wellness programs, health screenings, senior lunch and meals on wheels, senior benefits, county prescription drug discount cards, employment and training programs, recycling information and fire and safety programs.

There will also be free on-site document shredding to protect the identity for businesses and residents.

The event will take place at the Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Boulevard at Bear Ridge Road.

All businesses are welcome to attend and display their products and services. There is no charge for the event, but gifts for door prizes are welcome. Tables and chairs will be available.
