Mysteries at the museum program at History Center in Lockport

Celebrate fall at the History Center of Niagara on Oct. 8, by exploring some of the permanent exhibits at the museum and answering some questions that you might have about how people lived a long time ago.
How often did people take a bath in the 19th century. How did firemen fight fires before there were fire trucks and hydrants. What did Native Americans do for entertainment. What new snack were people enjoying 100 years ago.
To find out the answers, come to the “Mysteries at the Museum” program on Columbus Day. The program takes place at the History Center, 215 Niagara St. in Lockport on from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The program is open to children ages 7 through 12. The cost of the program is $10 per child. Reservations are not required. Parents are encouraged to leave their children for the duration of the program. Call the History Center at 434-7433 for more information.
