Bringing history alive at the Hull Family Home, Farmstead

LANCASTER- A Civil War Living History Weekend will be hosted by the Hull Family Home and Farmstead, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 22 and 23. The farmstead is located at 5976 Genesee St., Lancaster.
There will be demonstrations and exhibits and an opportunity to talk with soldiers and civilians about life during our nation's greatest struggle. Admissions for the event are $5 for adults, $2 for children 10 through 18, and free for children under 10. Admission includes tours of the historic house.
A Candlelight Tour will also be part of the history weekend. This unique, intimate and moving theatrical event presents numerous scripted Civil War scenarios by candlelight. First tour begins at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $12 and is not recommended for small children or those who have difficulty walking.
Tickets for the tours are sold separately and by reservation only. For reservations call 741-7032.
