As part of the first Winter Wonderland Project, holiday light displays now line the Erie Canal along Market Street from the Exchange Street bridge to Wide Waters.

The Winter Wonderland Project will also feature a number of cabins with various vendors inside, selling food and products, organizational information and more.

The event wall take place from 4 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 4 to 9 p.m. Sundays now through Jan. 1.

During the weekends there will also be various family activities, including a gingerbread contest, snow angel pageant, chili cook-off and more.

The light displays are those that once sat in Oppenhiem Park in Wheatfield.
