Annual High School Student Photography Exhibition opens at Villa Maria College

Villa Maria College is pleased to announce the opening of its 18th Annual High School Photography Student Exhibition, which is featured in the Paul William Beltz Family Art Gallery and will feature works from high school students from throughout the Erie-Niagara region and beyond.

Awards will be given for first, second and third place, along with ten honorable mentions and two $2000 scholarships to go to two incoming freshmen entering the college’s Photography Program in the Fall. The exhibit runs through June 2.



Villa Maria College holds several exhibitions during the year to showcase the work of students in major disciplines of study including the fine arts, graphic design, interior design and photography, animation, and fashion design. All events are held in the Paul William Beltz Family Art Gallery located in the main building ground floor on the campus of Villa Maria College. The gallery is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and is closed on Sunday. Villa Maria College, located in Buffalo, New York, is a private, co-educational Catholic college that specializes in the applied arts and music featuring both two and four-year degree options in photography. The College recently expanded its baccalaureate program offerings to include photography, graphic design, music (and NEW jazz concentration) and music industry.
