Light up Lockport for the holidays

Light Up Lockport Christmastime in the City will be held Dec. 1.
From 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., the community can enjoy a free breakfast at the Mason’s Lodge. At 10 a.m. a free showing of the movie “Elf” will be shown at the Palace.
Children can participate in a coloring contest at 11:30 a.m. and Santa will visit the Dale Association at noon. Cookie decorating will also be held from 11 a.m. to noon at Molinaro’s.
From noon to 1 p.m. story time with Mrs. Claus will take place and children can receive a free slice of pizza.
There will also be horse drawn wagon rides, hot chocolate and cookies at Key Bank, crafts and the library and a nativity scene and crafts at Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
City Hall will also be open with many family activities, including face painting, cookie decorating, finger printing, Lions Club eye screening, Mason’s video id’s for children, fire station tours, a petting zoo and more.
