Tonawanda Source seeking freelance writer

The Tonawanda Source is seeking a qualified freelance writer who is able to work under their own discipline.
The writer should be willing to commit to submitting four stories per week, with photo attached if desired and meet a weekly deadline.
A flexible schedule is beneficial; however, not required for the position.
The writer will be asked to cover community news, happening specifically in the City of Tonawanda. Including coverage of common council meetings, city news, community events (festivals, concerts, etc.), school board meetings, school events (featuring student achievements and accomplishments).
Self discipline and the ability to work in a timely manner are desirable traits for a freelance reporter.
