State of the Town luncheon to be held this week

The State of the Town luncheon is an annual event that gives the residents of Clarence the opportunity to hear what their public officials have planned for the upcoming year.

“It is an excellent chance to hear about the progress that the town has made over the past 12 months and to see where the town is headed over the next 12 months,” said Town of Clarence Supervisor David Hartzell. “Citizens who attend the lunch are able to talk to all of the elected officials, one on one if they wish, and to ask them whatever is on their mind.”

The luncheon will begin promptly at noon. It is held every year at Orazio’s Restaurant, 9415 Main St., Clarence.

The cost to attend the event is $25 per person.

This luncheon is hosted by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce and will include elected officials as well as civic, business and educational leaders.

This event is open to the public.

Reservations must be made by Monday, Jan 21. Space is very limited so don’t wait to call.

To reserve your spot, call the Clarence Chamber of Commerce office at 631-3888.
