Universal pre-k program at the Cheektowaga Central School District returns for 2013-14

CHEEKTOWAGA - The Cheektowaga Central School District will continue offering the universal pre-k program for the 2013-2014 school year. This program is open to district residents whose children will be four years of age on or before December 1.
The program is a 2.5-hour morning or afternoon session Monday through Friday. There will be a random draw to select the universal pre-k students. Classes will be housed at Union East Elementary School or Mary Queen of Angels School. Bus transportation will be provided for children who have reached the age of four by September 4.
Random draw applications are available between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Cheektowaga Central Office located in the high school building at 3600 Union Rd. The deadline for returning completed applications is April 24 at 4 p.m.
Pending the approval of state funding, universal pre-k classes will begin Wednesday, September 4. For additional information visit our website www.cheektowagacentral.org.
