Burton F. Mallaber, 79, of North Otto Road, Otto, died May 10, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Mallaber was a U.S. Army veteran; worked at Gernatt Gravel and Asphalt, for H.D. Mallaber Construction Co., Otto; member of Collins Draft Horse, Ox and Pony Club, Cattaraugus County 4H, American Legion and Cattaraugus County Mounted Division.
He was the husband of Brenda Ellis; son of the late Clyde and Marguerite (Perkins) Mallaber; father of Randy (Sue) Mallaber of Olean, Cindy Burroughs and Robin (Mark) Gernatt both of Cattaraugus; step-father of Ann (Tim) Nicolella of Gloversville, Tammy (Mike) Heppner of Sanford, Mich., Shirley Wyatt of East Concord; brother of Connie Scalzetti of Hobe Sound, Fla. and the late Herndon Mallaber; also survived by 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice.
