Rose Mary Harris, 63, of Jamestown Street, Gowanda, died July 8, 2012.
Ms. Harris worked at Gowanda Central School District, Hopkins County School District, Cattaraugus School District, Lake Shore School District; treasurer for Gowanda Teacher’s Association; member of Gowanda Ambulance Board; served on Collins Friends Meeting Church, Neighborhood Watch Group, Hollywood Theater Restoration committees; member of Friends of The Hollywood Theater; past member of Gowanda Free Library Board of Directors.
She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Lona (Witt) Harris; sister of Ruth Ann (late Michael) Menneke of Mexico, Mo.; also survived by nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements were by Schindler Funeral Home, Gowanda.
