Margaret R. Hammond Payne, 99, of Toad Hollow Road, Little Valley, died December 31, 2012 at WCA Hospital, Jamestown.
Mrs. Hammond Payne was a founding member of Little Valley Wesleyan Church; Sunday School teacher and on Board of Directors.
She was the wife of the late Alfred Hammond and Lyle Payne; daughter of the late John and Marie (Moore) Roth; mother of Floyd (Joann) Hammond of Florida, Donald Hammond and James (Barb) Hammond, both of Little Valley, Jean (Bill) Peters of Mayville; sister of Edward (Hazel) Roth of Ashville, Kathyn Roth of Ashville, Freda Hedlund of Kane, Pa. and the late Fred, Walter, Kenneth Roth, Dorothy Adams, Ida Brown; also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Little Valley Wesleyan Church.
Arrangements were by Mentley Funeral Home, Inc., Little Valley.
