Michael G. Condon, 88, of Cherry Creek, died June 30, 2012 at Gowanda Nursing and Rehabilitation Health Center.
Mr. Condon was a U.S. Army WWII veteran; worked at Blackstone in Jamestown, Village of Cherry Creek Maintenance Department; sexton of Cherry Creek Central Cemetery; life-member of Pine Valley VFW and Ellington Rod and Gun Club.
He was the husband of the late Dorothy I. Condon; son of the late Jack and Josephine (Guariglia) Condon; father of Jody (Danny) Farnham of South Dayton; brother of Sam (Elaine) Condon of Conewango Valley, Jack Condon Jr. of Cherry Creek, Mildred (Dolly) Root of Gerry and the late Nick Condon; also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Cherry Creek Fire Department, P.O. Box 204, Cherry Creek, NY 14723 or Cherry Creek Cemetery, P.O. Box 215, Cherry Creek, NY 14723.
Arrangements were by Hills Funeral Chapel, South Dayton.
