Lancaster Obits for the week of Sunday, July 8

BEILMAN – Michael J. of Lancaster passed away Friday, June 22, 2012. Mike, a well-loved agent with MJ Peterson Real Estate, was also employed by Dlubak Glass recycling company for many years. He loved fishing, cooking, animals, and pyrotechnics. His spectacular Fourth of July displays, occasionally attracted the attention of the Lancaster Police. He could tell a good joke, and would do anything for a friend. He was devoted to his parents, and visited them daily at the nursing home. Special thanks to Bob, long term friend and spiritual advisor, Kelly, Shezad, Lynn, Tim, and caring friends and neighbors. Survivors include Barbara Beilman (mother), John Beilman (father), Barbara Wilson (sister), Mary Beilman McNary (sister), Dawn Sapone (stepdaughter), Eric Rosenthal (stepson) and numerous nieces and nephews. SISKA - Henry G. of Lancaster died Thursday, June 28, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Ida (Bauer); loving father of Henry Jr. (Rosanne) Gary, Douglas, Faye (Alan) Aremburg, Joyce Siska and the late Ronald and Donald; grandfather of ten; great-grendfather of twelve; brother of Mary Stankowski, William (Elaine); also predeceased by brothers and sisters and survived by nieces and nephews. SZCZEPANSKI - Bozena "Bea" formerly of Lancaster entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the age of 98. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Maria (Michael) Koelsch; stepson, Christopher (Alina) Szczepanski; four grandchildren, Mark (Dineen) Szczepanski, Robert Szczepanski, Kimberley (Henry IV) Malarkey, Matthew (Erin) Koelsch; five great-grandchildren, Julianne Szczepanski, Kayla Szczepanski, Henry Malarkey V, Ryan Malarkey and Cora Koelsch; best friend, Joanne Quinn and her Horizons "family". She was predeceased by her husband, Lucian John Szczepanski in 1979. Mrs. Szczepanski was born in Tomislavgrad, Yugoslavia. Her passion for family, gardening, reading and her pets are what we will most remember about her amazing life. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at the home of her daughter, Anna Koelsch in Bristol, N.Y. BECK - Concetta R. (nee Baglio) of Lancaster passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012, beloved wife of the late Robert A.; loving mother of Richard (Debbie) and Shirley (Gregory) Hunt; grandmother of Daniel (Nicole) Hunt, Nicole Hunt, Jason and Dustin Beck; great-grandmother of Annaelise Hunt; sister of Josephine (late Paul) Ciraulo and the late Margaret (late Anthony) Christiano, late Michael, late Mary (late Frank) Fusco. Family received relatives and friends at the Wendel & Loecher, Inc., Funeral Home, in Lancaster, on Thursday with prayers at the funeral home Friday morning.
