Robert E. Kendall, 86, of Gowanda, died August 16, 2012 at Lake Shore Hospital in Irving.
Mr. Kendall was a U.S. Army WWII veteran; worked for Pine Valley Central School, Peter Cooper's Glue Factory in Gowanda; member of the Dayton Historical Society; past member of the Dayton Grange
He was the husband of the late Elinor M. (Nelson) Kendall; son of the late Lester and Abbey (Miller) Kendall; father of Jeanne L. (Royce) Matteson of South Dayton; brother of Doris (late Leonard) Felt of Gowanda, and the late Leslie (Gert) Kendall of Orchard Park; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Dayton Historical Society, PO Box 15, Dayton, NY 14041 or Dayton Volunteer Fire Department, 9512 Route 62, Gowanda NY 14070.
Arrangements were by Hills Funeral Chapel, South Dayton.
