Funeral services were held on Saturday (Oct. 20) from the home of Nathaniel and Terry Sue John for Dale Edwin John, 74, of Las Vegas and the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, who died on Thursday, October 11, 2012.
He is survived by his children, Lisa (Les) Calles, Jennifer and Laura John; step-children, Morasa and Sapphir So; his mother, Alberta A. (Kennedy) Donnelly; siblings, Darwin, Ronald, Cecile (Bowman), Cecil Jr. and Jackie and eight grandchildren.
Mr. John was predeceased by his parents, Cecil I. John and his siblings, Gerald “Jerry” John and Kathy Griebe.
Born on Aug. 12, 1938 in Gowanda, as a young man he attended the Haskell Indian Institute in Lawrence, Kansas and then served in the U.S. Marine Corp.
Mr. John was a journeyman barber for over 40 years, working in California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada; and also owned a successful espresso business for many years in Portland, Oregon.
He had a love of reading, traveling, watching foreign films, playing Texas Hold’em tournaments and most recently specializing in making Mata Ortiz pottery.
Mr. John enjoyed making people laugh with his witty humor and was well known for his friendliness and his love of passing on his knowledge and wisdom to others.
Burial was at the Seneca Nation Community Cemetery.
Arrangements were made through the Wentland Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held from the family residence on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation on Saturday (Oct. 20) for Inez (Deer) Jimerson, 68, of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, who died on Wednesday, October 17, 2012.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Jimerson; children, Paula (Stephen) Veneski, William (Madonna) Rivera, Marian Rivera and Jackie Jimerson; brother, Chester (Joan) Isaac and grandchildren, Connor and Kylea.
Mrs. Jimerson was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
She was a clan mother of the Bear Clan and was a member of the Cayuga Nation.

James E. Rolls
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday (Oct. 22) from St. Michael’s Church for James E. Rolls, of Lake View, who died on Monday, October 15, 2012.
He is survived by his longtime partner and spouse, Michael S. Cyhaniuk; daughters, Beth (Mark) Rolls Mathewson and Jennifer (Christopher) Rolls Reutz; siblings, Mary (George) Thomas, Anne (late James) Mahoney and John (Linda), Robert (Margaret) and Thomas (Darlene) Rolls; grandchildren, Will, Evan and Eli; sister-in-law, Mary (Leo) Lepkyj; dear friend, Jerrold DuShaw; many caring friends and family.

A memorial wake was held on Wednesday (Oct. 24) from the John J. Kazor Funeral Home for Kathleen M. “Gert” (Custard) Bantle, 63, of Blasdell, who died on Saturday, October 20, 2012.
She is survived by her sisters, Patricia (John) Courtney, Sharon (Wally) Wroblewski, Susan (Tom) Cahill and Joanne (John) Henderson; nieces and nephews.
Ms. Bantle was predeceased by her parents, Harrison and Kathleen (Letterman) Custard and her brother, James Custard.
She was a retired clerk with Verizon in Buffalo. She loved her cats and quilting for others.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25 from the Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home, 4199 Lake Shore Road (corner of Camp Road and Route 5) for Laura (Iafallo) Janosky-Przewlocki, of Hamburg, who died on Wednesday, October 17, 2012.
She is survived by her children, John (Paula) Janosky and Carol (David) Faery; grandchildren, Christy (Corey) Brown, Daniel Halligan and Nicholas and Amanda Janosky and great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Lyla Brown.
She was predeceased by her husbands, John Janosky and Leonard Przewlocki.
Interment was at Lakeside Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held in Hamburg at a later date for Robert Mason, 82, of the Villages, Fla., formerly of Hamburg, who died on Monday, October 15, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Mason; children, Randy L. (Mary Jo) Mason and Sandy (James) Just; siblings, Charlotte Domes and Leonard Mason; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Mr. Mason was born in Arcade and then lived in Hamburg for many years before moving to The Villages in Florida 17 years ago.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired as a cable splicer for New York Telephone Company after 40 years.
Mr. Mason was a past member of the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge 419, the American Legion and Ismailia Shrine Temple in New York.
He enjoyed bowling, woodcarving and playing golf.

He is survived by his wife, Sally (Evans) Bennett; children, Lorie (Bob) McClure, Jerry (April), Pat (Nicole) and John (Luz) Bennett; grandchildren, Kathryn, Ryan, Randy, Anna, Isaiah, Jenna, John, Lily, Maxine, April, Allison, Xachariah, Michael and Vivianne; great-grandchildren, Selena and Zoie; nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bennett was predeceased by his brothers, Jack (late Marion) and Donald (Shirley) Bennett,
He was a member of the Evans Rod and Gun Club, the Town of Tonawanda Irish-American Club, USWA Local No. 71 and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Clunie) Farallo; children, Diana (Steve) Austin, Jeanne (John) Stiny, Kathleen (Raymond) Tucker and Vincent (Diane Kam), Marianne and John Farallo; siblings, Anthony (Ruth) Farallo and Rose (Joseph) Guglielmi; grandchildren, Vincent R., Katherine (Tony), Loretta, Matthew, Michael, Eva, Johnathan, John, Benjamin and Lindsey; nieces and nephews.
Mr. Farallo was predeceased by his sibling, Eugenia Farallo.
He was a 47 year employee of the Ford Stamping Plant and never missed a day of work.

John V. Rosiek, Sr.
Private funeral services will be held for John V. Rosiek, Sr., 71, of Hamburg, who died on Tuesday, October 16, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Bauer) Rosiek; children, Pennie (Michael) Carnahan, John Jr. (Cheryl), Matthew (Marilyn), Patrick and April Rosiek; siblings, Judy (James) Meyer, Raymond (late Rose), Mary, James (Judy), Richard (Sharon) and Thomas (Donna) Rosiek; grandchildren, Shawn, Ashley, Steffeni, Chelsea, Tristan, Derek, Megan, Madison and Michael; nieces; nephews; many other family members and friends.
Mr. Rosiek was predeceased by his parents, John and Hilda (Meyer) Rosiek and sister, Cynthia (late Bruce) Dils.
He was the manager of CVS Pharmacy in Buffalo. He was an exempt member of the Lake View Volunteer Fire Company.

Mrs. Warren was predeceased by her husbands, Robert Boss and Bernard Warren; step-children, Diana (late James) Male, Molly (Gerald) Devlin and James Warren and siblings, Roy (Dorothy) Mutter and Betty (Joseph) Murabito.
