Harriet A. Mackmer, 90, of Luckey Drive, Houghton, formerly of Collins, died October 22, 2012 at Absolut of Houghton.
Mrs. Mackmer worked at Gowanda Psychiatric Center; participated in Foster Care Program; member of Brocton Free Methodist Church and Farm Bureau.
She was the daughter of Hurley and Bertha Poole Rogers; mother of William (Cheryl) Mackmer of Middleport, Rev. Robert J. (Deborah) Mackmer of Belfast, Patricia Mackmer of Gowanda, Kathleen (Robert) Elliott of Penfield; foster mother of June VanEck of Jackson, Mich. and the late Mary Blasak; sister of the late William Rogers, Kenneth Rogers, Floyd Rogers, Gladys Degenfelder, Dorothy Taylor Geisler, Hazel Lawton, Florence Ortel; also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
