PELHAM - Alvin of Lancaster unexpectedly passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at the age of 54; beloved son of Mary L. (nee Whigham) and the late Clarence O. Pelham; dearest brother of Brenda (Maurice) Curlee, late Alfred, Duane, Randy, Cadeejah and Charles Pelham; also survived by an aunt, uncles, nephews and cousins. Family was present to receive relatives and friends on Saturday at the Melvin J. Sliwinski Funeral Home, where funeral services followed. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery. GALLO - Alice M. (nee Hammer) of Lancaster died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012; beloved wife of 64 years of Orlando "Londo"; loving mother of Michael and Sharon Gallo; grandmother of Jeffrey (Jill), Craig and Scott Falkowski. Family received relatives and friends at the Wendel & Loecher, Inc. Funeral Home, in Lancaster, on Sunday, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Lancaster, Monday morning. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roswell Park.
MONDEL - Daniel A. of Lancaster entered into eternal rest Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012; beloved father of Aaron; loving companion of Jamie Ernst; devoted son of Larry and King; dear brother of Sean, Michelle (Bill Shurr) Musik; uncle of Elijah, Kaleb, and Bethany; also survived by many devoted friends. Visitation was held at the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home, Inc., in Depew, and a Celebration of Life was held immediately following visitation.
