Hazel Nellie Crowell, 94, of South Dayton, died January 12, 2013 at Absolut of Dunkirk.
Mrs. Crowell co-owned and operated Green Banks Farm; taught at East Leon Country School, Clear Creek Country School; member of Hamlet United Methodist Church, National Grange, Villenova Grange, Home Bureau, Hamlet Rebecca's, Farm Bureau; past member of National, State and County Holstein Club; Deputy Town Supervisor.
She was the wife of the late Donald V. Crowell; daughter of the late Carl and Nellie (Abbey) Mathewson; mother of Robert D. (Laurie) Crowell of South Dayton, Mary (Albert) Brinkerhoff of Livonia, Alice (Keith) Perkins of Warsaw, Carol (John) Dolphin of Brandon, Fla., Howard (Alyce) Crowell of Forestville, Betty (Gino Dellanina) Crowell of Camarillo, Cali.; also survived by 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hamlet United Methodist Church or Villenova Grange 604.
