Dorothy Cairns
Dorothy CairnsDorothy Cairns, 86, formerly of Mill Street, Springville, passed away on July 15.
She and her late husband, Dr. John Cairns, moved to Springville in 1960 and, in 1998, left for Pennsylvania to join their daughter.
She is survived by two sons, Andy, of West Vancouver, BC, and James, of Victor, N.Y. and two daughters, Lucy, of Wyomissing, Pa. and Sara of Concord, N.H., as well as 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Dorothy Hudzinski
Dorothy HudzinskiDorothy M. Hudzinski (nee Bialaszewski), 87, of Springville, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 5.
She was born Feb. 2, 1925 in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Stanley and Susan Bialaszewski.
She owned and operated the Village Aquarium for almost 20 years. She was a member of St. Aloysius Church and was active in the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital Women’s Association.
She was a member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 431.
She was the wife of the late Alexander Hudzinski Sr. and mother of Alexander (Katherine) Hudzinski Jr., Stanley C. Hudzinski and Lori Hudzinski, M.D.
She is survived by grandchildren Alexander, Dominic, Michael (Janice), Mark, Cindi, Christopher Hudzinski and Sarah O’Shei and great-grandchildren Dominic, Persephone, Samantha, Jamie, Trevor, Anthony and Louis. She was the sister of Sally Steger and Betty Jane Mikula and the late Peter Bialaszewski, Steven, Jack, Bernard, Eleanor Bielot and Richard. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Aug. 10 from St. Aloysius Church. The Rev. Lawrence Cobel officiated. Burial was in St. Aloysius Cemetery.

Kim Johnson
Kim D. Johnson of Bostonpassed away Aug. 1.
Mr. Johnson retired from National Fuel after 42 years and was a longtime member of St. John’s Church.
He was the husband of Sharon (nee Butcher) Johnson; father of Dean (Mary), Wayne (Pam), Mark (Terry)and Kevin (Sue) Johnson; brother of Lynn Johnson and the late Jill Babinger and Jack Johnson; grandfather of nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. John the Baptist Church in Boston on Saturday, Aug. 11. Memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Church. Arrangements were made by the Wurtz Funeral Home, 9287 State Road, Boston.
