TONAWANDAS - POLTRONE, Julianna G. (nee Golyski), 83, of Tonawanda, passed away April 14.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph James Poltrone; dear mother of Rosann (Kent Pease) Poltrone of Littleton, CO. and James J. Poltrone of Dayton, OH; loving grandmother of Maria Poltrone of Dayton, OH; sister of the late Walter, John, Stanley, Henry, Theodore, Frances and Joseph Golyski; also survived by nieces and nephews.
ZBOROWSKI, Vera E. (nee Saeli), 85, of Tonawanda, passed away April 17.
She was the beloved wife of the late Michael W. Zborowski; loving mother of Gloria (Robert) Adamek, Michele (John) Jezek, Michael J. (Angel) and Linda (Alan) Edwards; cherished grandmother of Michael, Melanie (James) Proefrock, Lisa and Bradley; great-grandmother of Natalie, Ivan, Connor and Griffin. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Zborowski’s name to Hospice-Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227.
CORNELL, Esther C. (nee Giambra); of Kenmore, passed away April 21, after her courageous battle with cancer; loving mother of Camille M. (Richard J.) Rinaldo and Thomas J. (Julie Mancuso) Cornell; cherished grandmother of EmilyAnne Coleman and Zachary A. Coleman; beloved daughter of the late James and Carmela (nee Lombardo) Giambra; dear sister of Thomas F. (JoAnne) Giambra; caring aunt of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Cornell was a devoted nursing assistant who touched many people’s lives during her 25 years of service at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and co-workers.
VENATOR, Barbara A., 72, of Tonawanda, passed away Wednesday, April 25 in DeGraff Hospital.
Born July 4, 1939, in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Tillie Wolski. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years Gerald M. Venator, whom she married in 1959.
Venator worked in the cafeteria of Sweet Home Central School District, retiring in 1984.
She is survived by her two loving sons Richard M. and Eric L. (Janet Kindron) Venator; two cherished granddaughters Shana and Danielle Venator; also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara’s name to Hospice Buffalo, Inc.
