Beating up a woman doesn’t make you a man - it makes you a coward

KENMORE - Recently, the Kenmore Police Department arrested a 25-year-old male for assaulting the mother of his girlfriend. This women sustained severe injuries to her head, which ultimately involved surgery.
Is this what it has all come down to?
I was shocked when I read this information. Who can you trust anymore?
This woman was attacked in her own home, by a man she knew and trusted. This man could have potentially been her son-inlaw in the future... and he is beating her?
I wonder what this woman could have possibly done for this man to have chosen to make this decision.
Most likely, she did nothing to deserve this type of behavior and abuse.
Too often I see young women dating men that start controlling the decisions and actions they make in their lives, and I almost always find myself asking...why?
I have no intention of having this editorial sound as though I am a feminist, however, come on ladies!
We, as women, have come so far in life and have been granted equality on so many levels. And in many cases, we have surpassed the amount of equality we sought to gain. But, all this stuff does is set us ladies back.
My advice to the girlfriend of this man... call it quits, leave him and don’t look back. Any man that treats you or your mother like that, is not a man you should be seeking a future with.
I wish the woman who has sustained these injuries, most likely as a result of her daughters dating selection, the bets of luck with a speedy recovery.
And to the man who did this, pick on someone your won size. Better yet, don’t pick on anyone at all and apologize for hurting that woman.
