Was the shooting in Newtown a hoax?

Let me just start off by saying that I think people have way too much time on their hands. Do we seriously think the Newtown, Connecticut massacre was a hoax?

Many social media members are posting videos and stories lately, claiming that the shooting of teachers and innocent children in Sandy Hook Elementary School was all a ploy to influence gun legislation.

Get out of here.

Now you tell me how there is anyway, shape, or form that every single one of those children, teachers, parents, police, and EMT’s were actors. Kids can’t keep a secret for one minute, never mind a lifetime and how would they pull it off without anyone knowing?

I mean honestly if this was really true then I want out of this country as fast as I can. There is no way, shape or form this could ever be possible. I know we all want a reason behind this and believe this is something so horribly tragic that it is not even possible but it is.

The fact of the matter is there are crazy people in this world who do insane, awful, things and there is no reason why. Children are abducted, killed, molested, and hurt almost every single day and it is not a government ploy for legislation so why would anyone think this incident would be?

Innocent children and wonderful teachers lost their lives because a sick individual came into their school and started shooting everyone for no good reason at all and he even shot his own mother beforehand. Is his mother part of the hoax too? It just doesn’t make sense.

If this was a hoax then where are all of the children and teachers that “didn’t” pass away. Are they all hiding underneath the ground in some secret government land? I don’t think so. The real answer to this problem is how do we get these dangerous people off of our streets and away from the innocent public?

NYS recently imposed more restrictions on obtaining a gun but I don’t believe that is going to solve the problem completely. The shooter in the Sandy Hook massacre did not buy a gun from a store he stole it from his mother. What we need to do is make it harder for individuals like Adam Lanza to ever step foot outside of jail or a mental facility ever again.

We as the public also need to stand up and if we feel something just isn’t right about someone, family member or no family member, we need to report it. I’m sure Adam Lanza’s mother knew that he was capable of something like this so why did it take a tragic event like this to prove it?

My point is that this wasn’t a hoax and you can get mad at the government all you want for imposing stricter laws on obtaining a gun but people don’t use guns to solely protect themselves, they use them to kill people so don’t blame this all on the government. Blame it on the insane, sick-minded individuals who have taken so many beautiful lives away.
