A strong belief in the Lancaster community

LANCASTER- My heartfelt thanks to the members of the Lancaster Police Department and the dispatchers, the Village of Lancaster Fire Department, and the Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps (LVAC), for helping me on Saturday night.
The dispatchers stayed on the line and kept me calm until the police arrived. The police officers, firemen, and LVAC risked the same fall I took to help me. I don’t quite remember how they got me up that hill, but they did it.
Your prompt response prevented a bad situation from getting worse.
Your aid confirmed my long-held belief that Lancaster is a community where people look after and take care of each other.
