• Lynn T. John, 19, of Brant, was charged June 6 with DWI and traffic infractions after being stopped on Milestrip Road, Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, for failing to dim high-beam headlights.
According to authorities, John had a B.A.C. of .12 percent.
Also, Jerrod T. Kennedy, 30, of Collins, a passenger in John’s vehicle, was charged with first-degree unlawful dealing with a child for allegedly providing the driver with alcoholic beverages.
John and Kennedy are due in court.
• On June 8, CSX Railroad reported a train stopped on the tracks near Erie Road and Old Lake Shore Road in Brant that had a traction fire in the motor on the third car from the front of the train.
Train personnel attempted to extinguish the fire, but it kept reigniting.
The fire department responded and extinguished the fire. Damage to the train was unknown.
• Shannon Blasak, 24, of Route 39, Perrysburg, was charged June 6 with second-degree criminal trespassing and harassment after Deputies responded to a complaint from a Jennings Road, Collins, resident, of a disturbance that turned into a physical altercation between two females.
Blasak is due in Collins Town Court.
• Benjamin K. Kreutter, no age given, of East Otto, was charged June 12 with second-degree unlawful surveillance after Deputies responded to a 911 complaint.
According to authorities, an investigation revealed that a male worker had set up a covert video camera to surreptitiously film a female co-worker in the bathroom. The victim discovered the camera and called the Sheriff’s office.
Kreutter was remanded to Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in North Collins Village Court.
