Gowanda Police log for June 24

• Kenneth F. Renaldo, 24, of Buffalo Street, Gowanda, was charged June 8 with disorderly conduct after Patrol responded to Buffalo Street, in front of Jubilee, for the report of a disturbance for a man yelling.
According to authorities, Renaldo was causing a disturbance in the roadway. When Police attempted to quell the disturbance, Renaldo allegedly continued to yell profanities at them. He also became physically aggressive, challenging Patrol to fight.
Renaldo is due in Collins Town Court.
• Nathan F. Croft, 19, of North Chapel Street, Gowanda, was charged June 6 with unlawful possession of marijuana after Police questioned four individuals walking down the middle of Commercial Street.
According to authorities, Croft was found with a small amount of marijuana.
Croft is due in Persia Town Court.
• Dustin Longboat, 16, of Beech Street, Gowanda, was charged June 8 with third-degree assault after Patrol responded to the report of a mother-son domestic.
According to authorities, the domestic argument had escalated and turned physical, with Longboat allegedly punching the victim numerous times in the face and head, causing injuries.
Longboat was released to a third party and is due in Persia Town Court.
• Jeremiah A. Bednarek, 30, of Beech Street, Gowanda, was charged June 10 with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing after Patrol responded to the report of a disturbance on Miller Street.
According to authorities, Bednarek had become embroiled in an argument with a neighborhood female. The argument escalated, with Bednarek allegedly threatening the victim, advancing toward her, swinging a sledgehammer.
Bednarek was arraigned in Persia Town Court and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.
• Harley F. Tong, 30, of Perry Street, Gowanda, was charged June 10 with second-degree strangulation after Patrol responded to a domestic incident.
According to authorities, Tong had been involved in an argument with a female, which escalated and became physical, with Tong allegedly grabbing the female by the hair, pulling her to the ground, choking her.
Tong is due in Collins Town Court.
• Jordan A. Lasalle-Brant, 30, of Union Street, Gowanda, was charged June 12 with expired inspection and aggravated unlicensed operation after Patrol stopped him on Aldrich Street for an expired inspection sticker.
According to authorities, a computer check revealed that Lasalle-Brant’s Driver’s License had been suspended on June 8 for failure to answer a traffic summons in the Town of Brant.
Lasalle-Brant is due in Collins Town Court.
• Vicki L. Abbey, 56, of Route 39, Perrysburg, was charged June 15 with obstructed vision, aggravated unlicensed operation and operating without insurance after being stopped on West Main Street for obstructed windshield vision.
According to authorities, a DMV check revealed that Abbey’s Driver’s License had been suspended on March 28 for no insurance, and there was no insurance currently in effect.
Abbey is due in Persia Town Court.

According to authorities, Renaldo allegedly intentionally broke the window and door.

• Edwin Ruiz, 47, of Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, was charged June 17 with second-degree harassment following a disturbance at a Commercial Street residence.
According to authorities, Ruiz had been involved in an argument with a female at the residence, which escalated into a physical confrontation, with Ruiz allegedly punching the female in the face.
Ruiz is due in Persia Town Court.
