Gowanda Police log for Sept. 9

Sherry L. Kettle, 45, of Richardson Road, Gowanda, was charged Aug. 31 with DWI and aggravated DWI after Patrol responded to a disturbance at the village business on Buffalo Street and stopped her as she exited the establishment.
According to authorities, Kettle had a reportable B.A.C. of .18 percent.
Kettle is due in Collins Town Court.
Brian Longboat, 21, of Harrison Street, Buffalo, was charged Aug. 31 with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Buffalo Street.
According to authorities, Longboat was found with 1.2 grams of cocaine and 8.7 grams of marijuana.
Longboat is due in Collins Town Court.
Kristina L. Ross, 33, of Kerr Warner Road, Collins, was charged Aug. 28 with disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana after Patrol responded to the report of an unwanted guest at a Walnut Street residence.
According to authorities, Patrol said that Ross, appearing to be highly intoxicated, refused to leave the residence. Also, Ross began to swear and yell profanities at anyone in the area, including Patrol. Patrol also says that Ross was found with a marijuana pipe and a small amount of marijuana.
Ross is due in Persia Town Court.
Jason E. Ring, 22, of Colonial Drive, Springville, was charged Aug. 23 with unlawful possession of marijuana after Patrol observed a suspicious vehicle parked at an establishment on Palmer Street.
According to authorities, Ring was found with a bag three-quarters full of marijuana.
Ring is due in Persia Town Court.
Harold E. Smith, 47, of Commercial Street, Gowanda, was charged Aug. 20 with third-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest after Patrol responded to Commercial Street for the report of a combative individual causing damage to a building.
According to authorities, when Smith was confronted he became combative and attempted to fight with patrol. A Taser was used on Smith to obtain compliance.
Smith was arraigned in Persia Town Court and transported to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $750 bail.
Todd J. Green, 27, of Versailles, was charged Aug. 19 with illegally tinted windows, felony DWI and felony aggravated unlicensed operation following a traffic stop on Buffalo Street.
According to authorities, Green had a reportable B.A.C. of .17 percent, and a computer check revealed that Green had been previously convicted of aggravated unlicensed operation on Dec. 23, 2009, and DWI on Dec. 19, 2006. Also, Greens license had been revoked on Jan. 24, 2011 for aggravated DWI.
Green is due in Collins Town Court.
Christina M. McRae, 26, of Walden Avenue, Buffalo, was charged Aug. 21 with facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and lending a vehicle without an interlock system in connection with the Aug. 19 Todd Green incident. It was discovered that the vehicle Green was driving was loaned to him by McRae.
According to authorities, when McRae arrived to retrieve her vehicle from impound on Aug. 21, she was charged for allowing Green to drive her vehicle without a license and for lending her vehicle without an interlock system to Green, who was mandated to have the system following his aggravated DWI arrest on Dec. 23, 2009.
McRae is due in Collins Town Court.
Scott W. White, 47, of Route 438, Gowanda, was charged Aug. 17 with drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest after Patrol responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle on Mechanic Street.
According to authorities, the vehicle was full of intoxicated individuals, who were asked to exit the vehicle. White allegedly became belligerent, became combative, and attempted to fight with police.
White is due in Collins Town Court.
