April 17

Possession

Joseph R. Koontz, 52, Pfohl Place, Williamsville, was arrested Tuesday for being in possession of marijuana while hanging out at the skate park located on Elgin Street, Tonawanda. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Harassment

Joseph L. Barwick Sr., 33, Simpson Street, Tonawanda, was arrested Tuesday for aggravated harassment. Barwick was alledgedly making harassing phone calls. He was released on an appearance ticket.

April 19

Petit Larceny

Samuel J. McFarland, 24, Morgan Street, Tonawanda, was arrested on a warrant Thursday for petit larceny and four counts of possession of a forged instrument.

McFarland stole four checks from a family member and forged their signature in order to cash the checks. Total amount of funds stolen was $200. Checks were written in $50 increments. He was held for court.

April 20

Warrant Surrender

Alvert Reiter, 67, Insbrook Court, Amherst, surrendered on a warrant April 20 for menacing in the second degree and possession of a weapon (knife). Reiter was wanted for a road rage incident he was involved in on April 4. He was held for court.

Warrant Surrender

Christopher M. Wienckowski, 24, Maple Street, Tonawanda, surrendered on a warrant April 20 for falsely reporting an incident. Wienckowski alledgedly reported a car stolen on Dec. 2 - this report was false.

Larceny

Lisa A. Prynn, 31, Porter Street, Lockport, was arrested April 20 for criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and petit larceny. Bail was set at $750.

Dis-Con

Daninel A. Pantera, 45, Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, was arrested April 20 for disorderly conduct and failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $250.

DWI

John D. Czora, 47, Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, was arrested April 20 for aggravated DWI, DWI intox and following too close. BAC was .27.

Czora was arrested after a property damage incident.

AUO

Anthony J. Campagna, 44, Thomas Fox East Drive, North Tonawanda, was arrested April 20 for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree.

DWI

Paul A. Smith, 51, Cleveland Drive, Kenmore, was arrested April 20 for DWI and failure to use designated lane. Bail was set at $250.

AUO

Gregory C. Osborne, 30, Townline Road, North Tonawanda, was arrested April 20 for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and speeding in zone. Bail was set at $250.

Mischief

Marshall Williams, 42, Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, was arrested April 20 for criminal mischief in the fourth degree. Williams weld held without bail.

April 21

Criminal Possession

Lisa M. Cassenti, 34, Belmont Court East, North Tonawanda, was arrested April 21 for criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the second degree.

Cassenti was held without bail.

DWI

Roy W. Thompson, 21, Isabelle Road, Cheektowaga, was arrested April 21 for DWI, driving with a BAC of more than .08 and failure to keep right. BAC was .14, bail was set at $250.

Theft

Maggie A. Hartsock, 28, Porter Road, Niagara Falls, was arrested April 21, by the North Tonawanda Police Department, on a warrant for theft of services. Bail was set at $500.

April 22

Possession

Margaret E. Murray, 20, Mosher Drive, Tonawanda, was arrested April 22 for criminal mischief and unlawful possession of marijuana. Murray was involved in a disturbance on Mosher Drive. She was held for court.

DWI

Timothy J, Devonshire, 32, Embassy Square Apartments, Tonawanda, was arrested April 22 for DWI, driving with a BAC of more than .08 percent and moving from lane unsafely. BAC was .10, bail was set at $250.

AUO

Joseph D. Scalzi, 26, Park Avenue, North Tonawanda, was arrested April 22 for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and for a dog running at large.

Bail was set at $250.

April 23

Harassment

Robert M. Smith, 24, Whiting Street, North Tonawanda, was arrested Monday for resisting arrest and harassment in the second degree. Smith was held without bail.
