Willams accused of attempted rape, held on $50,000 bail

After an investigation conducted by City of Tonawanda Police, Eugene Williams, 19, of North Hampton Street, Buffalo, is charged with three felony counts including criminal sexual act - first degree; sexual abuse - first degree; and attempted rape.
Williams had been communicating with a 20-year-old female, of Tonawanda, through the use of an online chatroom - MeetMe.com - for the duration of two months.
On Nov. 7, the female invited Williams to her home to meet in person. During that time, the incident occurred and law enforcement was contacted. Williams was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 20 and held on $50,000 bail.
