City of Tonawanda

February 6

Sale of substance

Brittney D. Fuhrey, 23, Newell Avenue, Tonawanda, was arrested Feb. 6 for criminal possession of stolen property, criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, and stolen pill bottles. Patrol found prescription drugs out of the bottle, including suboxone, and found a crack pipe in Fuhrey’s purse. Patrol was notified that a suspicious person was on Edith Street, Tonawanda. When they arrived they determined it was Fuhrey. She was held for court.

Warrant surrender

Tammy L. Coughlin, 51, Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, surrendered on a warrant for suspended registration. She was held for court.

Petit larceny

Zachary D. Canty, 19, East Morris Street, Buffalo, was arrested Feb. 6 for petit larceny. Canty was seen trying to walk out of TOPS on Niagara Street, with four beef steaks that he hadn’t paid for. The total amount he was attempting to steal was $45.43. He was released and issued an appearance ticket.

February 7

Possession

Stephen R. Linderman, 19, Delton Street, Tonawanda, was arrested Feb. 7 for possession of marijuana. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Larceny

Matthew A. McMullen, 22, Shelley Court, Tonawanda, was arrested on a warrant Feb. 7 for larceny. He was held for court.

DWI

William R. Weigold, 23, Channing Court, Tonawanda, was arrested Feb. 7 for DWI, driving with a BAC or more than .08, possession of marijuana, and suspended registration. Weigold was stopped at Main and Fill Streets for making an illegal right turn. Patrol determined he was intoxicated. A small amount of marijuana was found. His BAC was .15, he was held for court.

Warrant surrender

Danielle J. Sullivan, 35, Broadmoore Avenue, Tonawanda, surrendered on a warrant for larceny Thursday, Feb. 7. She was held for court.

Warrant surrender

Robert R. Scott, 30, Seymour Street, Tonawanda, surrendered on a warrant for disorderly conduct. All fines were paid.

February 9

DWI

Kevin J. Curtis, 31, East Schenck Street, Tonawanda, was arrested Saturday, Feb. 9 for DWI, driving with a BAC of more than .08, and failure to stop at a stop sign. Curtis was observed rolling through a stop sign on East Niagara and Fillmore. He told law enforcement that he “ rolled through the stop sign and fish tailed because he was not on four-wheel drive,” he also told patrol he had “four Bud Lights and four shots of Jameson.” Curtis failed his field tests, his BAC was .17.

February 10

DWI

John A. Valkwitch, 49, Dale Drive, Tonawanda, was arrested Sunday, Feb. 10 for DWI, passing a red light, and failure to obey a traffic device. Valkwitch made an illegal right turn at a red light at Main and Fletcher Streets. He was pulled over and patrol could detect intoxication. He admitted to law enforcement that he “had a few too many.” Valkwitch failed his field tests and refused to take the roadside breath test.

He was held for court.

North Tonawanda

February 9

Sale of substance

Edward F. Ringler, 20, Dimatteo Drive, North Tonawanda, was arrested Feb. 9 for criminal sale of substance in the fourth degree, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree.

Bail was set at $2,000.

February 10

DWI

Nicole L. Cicero, 34, Sixth Avenue, North Tonawanda, was arrested Feb. 10 for DWI Felony, aggravated DWI (BAC higher than .18), and driving with an obstructed view.

BAC was .26, her bail was set at $750.

Petit larceny

Michael J. Klinefelter, 48, Tremaine Avenue, Kenmore, was arrested Feb. 10 for petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

He was released on his own recognizance.

February 11

Sale of substance

James R. Plau, 25, Walck Road, North Tonawanda, was arrested Feb. 11 for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fourth degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree.

Bail was set at $2,000.
