Lockport police reports for the week of June 25

June 21

Possession

David M. Douglas, 37, 4 Harvey Ave., Apt. Front Lockport was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, trespass and third-degree menacing June 21.

Patrol responded to an unwanted person. Upon arrival, patrol located Douglas, who appeared highly intoxicated.

Patrol asked what he was doing and he stated the victim owed him $600 and he came to collect it.

Patrol interviewed the victim who stated she was sleeping when he started to pound on her door. She told him to leave but he refused. She said he was demanding $600.

The victim told police she told him to call her tomorrow and he then allegedly cussed and threatened to kill her.

A clear plastic bag containing a green leafy vegetable matter was located in his right front pocket. It field-tested positive for the presence of marijuana.

June 22

Charged

Matthew J. Lequeux, 20, 163 South St., Apt. Lower, Lockport was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief June 22.

The victim stated to police that Lequeux and a second person got into an argument over a cell phone.

Lequeux allegedly became upset and threw a box though the living room window.

June 26

Harassment



Vincent E. McCabe, 31, 55 Elmira St., Lockport was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment.

On June 24, patrol responded to a domestic incident. Upon arrival, patrol interviewed the victim who was bleeding from her mouth.

She stated her husband came home and accused her of cheating on him. He said he wanted to show her a recording played through his vehicle’s speakers.

The victim, a witness and McCabe went to his vehicle to listed.

The victim said near the end of the recording she said something about her husband and after that played, McCabe allegedly reached across the vehicle and punched the victim in the mouth with a closed fist.

McCabe then left at a reportedly high rate of speed.
