City of Tonawanda
July 3
Possession
Jeffrey McNeal, 53, Manhattan Street, Buffalo, was arrested July 3 for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Violation
Sean Vungaro, 20, Fletcher Street, Tonawanda; Kevin Moore, 21, Fletcher Street, Tonawanda; and Steven Royer, 21, Longs Avenue, Tonawanda, were arrested for violation a property management code enforcement, which stated a home was condemned and no persons should be on the property. The three parties mentioned above were found on the property.
July 4
Possession
Patrick George, 20, Fletcher Street, Tonawanda, was arrested July 4 for possession of fireworks. George was lighting off fireworks on Tussing Lane and caught the grass on fire.
July 5
Possession of Drugs
Jonathan Fox, 50, Delaware Street, Tonawanda, was arrested on a warrant for criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell and criminal sale of a narcotic drug. Both charges are felonies.
Obstruction
Kyle Vogel, 26, Hinds Street, Tonawanda, was arrested on Hill Street for obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest. Vogel was involved in an altercation with a female. As law enforcement attempted to interview the involved female, Vogel continuously tried to pull her away from the police officers.
Grand larceny
Leslie Tanner, 27, Barton Court, Tonawanda, was arrested on a warrant for grand larceny of a credit card and identity theft.
July 6
Dis-Con
Matthew Gauthier, 36, Warren Avenue, Kenmore, was arrested July 6 for disorderly conduct and harassment.
Gauthier was driving on Niagara Street near Franklin when he was involved in an altercation with a couple and their children after they were attempting to cross the street at a pedestrian yield sign. Gauthier slammed on his brakes, exited his vehicle and started screaming obscenities and spitting on the couple and their children. The couple involved chose to make a citizens arrest and pressed charges on Gauthier for harassment. He was later charged with disorderly conduct by the City of Tonawanda Police.
July 7
James Fulbright, 44, Grant Street, Tonawanda, was arrested July 7 for aggravated DWI. Fulbright was pulled over on Fillmore Avenue, Tonawanda, after he failed to keep right and failed to use his turn signal properly. BAC was .18.
July 8
DWI
Jenelle Ambrosia, 29, Union Road, Cheektowaga, was arrested July 8 for aggravated DWI, DWI, failure to keep right, failure to stop at stop sign and crossing the double yellow lines.
Ambrosia was driving on Delaware and veering into the other lane. After she didn’t stop at a stop sign and drove over the curb, law enforcement pulled her over as she was driving East on Niagara Street. She failed her field tests and her BAC was .22.
Larceny
Neal Gilbert, 19, Erie Avenue, North Tonawanda, was arrested July 8 for petit larceny. Gilbert was observed stealing a Lunchable from Tops.
North Tonawanda
Traffic violations
John E. Tranter, 32, ward Park, Grand Island, was arrested July 7 for reckless driving, passing a red light, speeding, insufficient turn signal, driving with an uninspected motor vehicle and driving left of pavement markings. Bail was set at $250.
Larceny
Tracy I. Hutchinson, 47, Tremont Street, North Tonawanda, was arrested July 7 for petit larceny.
Trespass
David L. Serrano, 40, Allen Street, was arrested July 7 for trespassing and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $100.
Trespass
Branden A, Blaszczak, 19, Fifth Avenue, North Tonawanda, was arrested July 6 for criminal trespass in the third degree.
