August 15
Harassment/Assault
The following individuals were arrested after an incident that occurred Aug. 15, at Colosso Taco on Main Street, Tonawanda.
Amber Okon, 22, William Street, Tonawanda, was charged with harassment; Terrence Schlifke, 26, William Street, Tonawanda, was charged with assault; Greg Doel, 39, Britton Drive, Niagara Falls, was charged with harassment; and Kelly Huntington, 37, Britton Drive, Niagara Falls, was also charged with harassment.
August 17
Endangerment
Daniel Stutz, 22, Main Street, Tonawanda, was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child Aug. 17.
August 18
Dis-Con
Steven Zak, 24, Fletcher Street, Tonawanda, was arrested for disorderly conduct, unreasonable noise and obscene language Aug. 18.
August 19
DWI
Keith Martin, 34, Military Road, Town of Tonawanda, was arrested on Main Street for DWI, improper passing, unsafe lane change and speeding Aug. 19.
BAC was .16, he was held for court.
North Tonawanda
August 17
Discharging a weapon
Abreana K. Albon, 20, Falconer Street, North Tonawanda, was arrested for discharging a weapon in the city and unlawful possession of marijuana Aug. 17.
Albon discharged a BB Gun.
Larceny
Kim Gibson, 45, Niagara Falls Boulevard, North Tonawanda, was arrested for larceny Aug. 17.
Petit Larceny
William Bunts, 55, West Street, Sanborn, was arrested for petit larceny Aug. 17, after stole from Walmart.
August 18
Stolen Property
A juvenile was arrested on Walck Road, North Tonawanda, after he was observed riding a stolen bicycle Aug. 18.
He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
City of Tonawanda Fire Reports for the week of Aug. 13 to 19.
• The fire department responded to 28 EMS incidents, including two motor vehicle accidents.
• One Alarm of Fire, that occurred at 1:39 p.m. Aug. 19 at 173 Fletcher St., due to food burning on the stove.
There was no damage.
• Two Still alarms, including the following:
At 1 p.m. Aug. 14 the fire department was dispatched to 130 Syracuse St., (Mullen School) for a Carbon Monoxide Alarm alerting.
Crews measured 150 parts per million in the boiler area. An obstructed hot water heater vent pipe was found.
They removed the obstruction and ventilated the building.
At 10:12 a.m. Aug. 15, crews responded to 77 Penarrow Drive, to a car on fire in the garage.
The fire was extinguished by crews, damage totaled $2,500.
The owner of the car was John Miller.
• Three investigations:
At 7:29 p.m. Aug. 13, the fire department investigated an illegal open burning at 110 Penarrow Drive.
At 9:36 p.m. Aug. 16, crews responded to an illegal open burning at Delaware and State Streets.
At 5:50 a.m. Aug. 18, crews responded to an obnoxious odor that was reported outdoors at Kohler and Broad Streets. No sign of odor was found when the fire department arrived.
• Four assistance calls
• Three automobile lockouts
• One request to cut a lock off display cabinet at Tim Horton’s restaurant, 71 Niagara St., Tonawanda.
