August 6
Burglary
Jose M. Cruz, 23, East Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, was arrested for burglary and petit larceny Aug. 6. Cruz entered a home on Morgan Street and stole a Tops gift card. He then proceeded to use the gift card at Tops to purchase items.
August 7
Warrant Surrender
David P. Morgan, 33, Warren Avenue, Kenmore, surrendered on a warrant for suspended registration Aug. 7. All fines were paid.
Criminal Possession
Edward Siwy, 37, Scott Street, Tonawanda, was arrested on a warrant for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree Aug. 7.
Suspended Registration
Stephanie M. Bona, 22, Fairelm Lane, Cheektowaga, was arrested on a warrant for suspended registration Aug. 7. She was held for court.

Thomas M. Deering, 19, Columbus Street, Buffalo, was arrested on a warrant for suspended registration Aug.7. He was held four court.
Narcotics
Charles A. Rose, 25, Bouck Street, Tonawanda, was arrested on a bench warrant for narcotics Aug. 7. He was held for court.
Assault
Two 16-year-old males, from Niagara Falls, were arrested and charged with assault in the third degree Aug. 7. The two juveniles jumped a third juvenile, from Niagara-Wheatfield, in the Gander Mountain parking lot on Youngs Street, Tonawanda. They were apprehended and held for court.
Harassment
Three brothers, from the City of Tonawanda, were arrested on a warrant for harassment in the second degree Aug. 7. The juveniles were taken into custody and held for court.
August 8
Dis-Con
Robert E. Dendy, 63, Niagara Street, Tonawanda, was arrested for disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana Aug. 8. Dendy was found passed out on the sidewalk at the corner of Niagara and Main Streets, Tonawanda. A bottle of vodka was laying on the ground next to him and he was seen holding two bags of marijuana. Dendy was taken to ECMC for treatment.
August 10
Possession of marijuana
William Labolt, 45; and Ronald J. Anderson, 47, both of Fredericka Street, North Tonawanda, were arrested for being in possession of a small quantity or marijuana Aug. 10. The men were found in a parked vehicle with marijuana in the center counsel.
DWI
Julie A. Striefeler, 42, Vine Lane, Amherst, was arrested for DWI felony and speeding Aug. 10. Striefeler was observed driving at 50 mph in a 30 mph zone and refused to take the roadside breath test when patrol pulled her over. After a DMV check, law enforcement determined she had a prior DWI conviction from Amherst in 2009.
August 11
Drug Charges
David B. Slayback, 25, Zimmerman Boulevard, Buffalo, was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and passing through a red light Aug. 11.
Slayback was pulled over on Delaware for driving through a red light. Patrol smelled marijuana and Slayback admitted to patrol he had, Just smoked a blunt. Slayback was found with 116 pills of clonazepam and 74 pills of carisoprodol outside of the bottle.
John R. Luper, 23, Delaware Street, Tonawanda, was in the car with Slayback. Luper was charged with possession of marijuana. Both men were released on appearance tickets.
Criminal Contempt
Donald A. Militello, 29, Carney Street, Tonawanda, was arrested for violating an order of protection Aug. 11. He was held for court.
August 12
Criminal Mischief
Thomas R. Krause, 21, Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, was arrested for criminal mischief Aug.12. Krause threw a sidewalk sign at a parked vehicle, located in front of Colosso Taco on Main Street, Tonawanda, and caused damage to the vehicle.
Larceny
Jonathan J. Suba, 27, Huxley Drive, Buffalo, was arrested on a warrant for petit larceny Aug. 12. Bail was set at $250.
North Tonawanda

August 13
Jeremy M. Eddy, 36, West Third Road, Jamestown, was arrested Aug. 13 for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree. Bail was set at $300.
Dis-Con
Craig J. Nagel, 18, Walmore Road, Wheatfield, was arrested Aug. 13 for disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $100.
City of Tonawanda Fire Reports from Aug. 6 to 12
The fire department responding to the following incidents:
38 EMS calls
One Alarm of fire occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. Aug. 6 at 500 Fillmore Ave., (Medco company), to a fire burning inside a wall in the office area, it was quickly extinguished. Cause was determined to be accidental, estimated at $1000 damage.
Four Still alarms:
At 7:11 p.m. CTFD responded to 38 Steiner Ave., for a carbon monoxide alarm.
At 7:49 p.m. Aug. 8 CTFD responded to 174 Morgan St., for a truck fire, damage estimated at $4000.
At 10:19 p.m. Aug. 9 CTFD responded to Long Homestead bridge/Ellicott Creek and assisted Tonawanda Police with subject threatening to harm himself.
At 10:19 a.m. Aug. 11 CTFD responded to 157 Clinton St. to a truck that was driven into house. Two vehicles were damaged, the home as extensively damaged, no injuries were reported.
Two investigations:
At approximately 9:40 p.m. Aug. 9 CTFD responded to 206 Ilion St. for an odor of flammable gas outside.
At approximately 12:40 a.m. Aug. 9 CTFD responded to 121 Clinton St. for illegal open burning.
One assistance call for a vehicle lockout.
