Lancaster Police seeking robbery suspect

LANCASTER- The Lancaster Police are investigating a robbery which occurred at Papa John’s Pizza at the corner of Transit Road and Wehrle Drive in the Town of Lancaster. 
On Monday, Aug. 20 at approximately 12:10 a.m., an employee was closing the pizzeria when a male entered through a rear door with a black handgun and forced the employee at gunpoint to the front of the store where he stole cash from a safe and cash register. The suspect then fled the store through the rear door. The employee was not injured. 
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20's, six feet tall, 165 pounds, blue eyes and was wearing faded blue jeans, black sneakers, gray hooded sweatshirt, black cap with a white logo, and a black bandana which covered most of his face. 
Anyone with information is urged to call the Lancaster Detective Bureau with any information at 683 3120, ext. 19.
