Longtime engineer retires from E&M

Glenn Cooley
SPRINGVILLE — The retirement of Glenn Cooley was announced by E&M Engineers and Surveyors P.C.

Cooley started with the firm as a staff engineer in 1969. He obtained his professional engineers license in 1981 and became president of the firm in 1990.

E&M currently has a staff of 20 engineers, surveyors, civil engineering technicians and administrative personnel. The company has offices in Springville and Bradford, Pa. The Springville location is currently working on various municipal and commercial projects. Bridge designs and municipal projects are underway, in the Bradford office.

Cooley has worked on many civil engineering projects in water, wastewater and subdivision design, completing projects for towns, villages, counties and commercial developers.

He has also participated in Springville Area Chamber of Commerce events and is the chairman of the Yorkshire Planning Board.

He and his wife Anita reside in Yorkshire. Their retirement plans include traveling, genealogy research, reading and gardening.
