C-LV student becomes Eagle Scout

Nathaniel “Kase” Williams was honored at a special Eagle Scout ceremony at the East Randolph United Methodist Church in East Randolph on Saturday, Sept. 15. His uncle, Mike Williams, also an Eagle Scout from Randolph, presented him with his award.Williams started in Scouts at the age of 5 and has progressed through the ranks to become an Eagle Scout, earning 31 merit badges. He also is a member of the Order of the Arrow (Boy Scouting’s National Honor Society).
For his required Eagle service project, Williams conducted an inventory of the residences in the Village of Randolph, which included names and addresses for each property address. For those residences that did not have a house number displayed, he provided a brochure to inform/educate the residents about the importance of having house numbers prominently displayed on their house for first responders. The completed inventory was then provided to the Randolph Fire Company for their use.
The Eagle Scout is in 10th grade at Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School and active in a number of sports and extracurricular activities. He is also a member of the Cattaraugus County Youth Advisory Board, Youth Court and the Little Valley United Methodist Church.
He is the son of Aaron Williams and the grandson of Jim and Tammy Williams.
